Senator Bateman is a partner with the law firm of DiFrancesco, Bateman, Coley, Yospin, Kunzman, Davis and Lehrer, P.C. He was elected State Senator in 2008, after having served the 16th Legislative District as an Assemblyman from 1994 to 2007. Senator Bateman currently serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee and the Senate Environment and Energy Committee. He has served on the Joint Committee on Public Schools and the Joint Committee on Housing Affordability. In addition, Senator Bateman has been appointed to the Joint Committee on Affordable Housing, the Parole Advisory Board and the New Jersey Historical Commission. He also has served on the boards of numerous community organizations.
