Lawrenceville, NJ, February 24, 2015 – MDAdvantage Insurance Company, a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance, today announced the 2015 Edward J. Ill Excellence in Medicine scholarship recipients.
The Excellence in Medicine Awards are named after Edward J. Ill, MD, a New Jersey physician who was a pioneer in promoting continuing education in ways that set the national standard. All profits from this annual event are dedicated to the Edward J. Ill Excellence in Medicine Scholarship Fund, which was formed in recognition of a strong need to support healthcare education in New Jersey—a need that continues to grow year over year as tuitions rise and pressures continue to mount for aspiring healthcare professionals.
Over the past five years, the Edward J. Ill Excellence in Medicine Foundation has raised $320,000 in scholarship contributions.
