As we publish the final issue of 2021, it provides an opportunity to reflect on yet another challenging year. Clearly COVID-19 continued to be the predominant topic, as we focused not only on vaccines and variants, but also on the heavy toll the pandemic has taken on our healthcare providers. Many of you have personally experienced an unprecedented level of anxiety, loss and burnout.
We are so grateful for all of the experts who have weighed in over the past year by participating in our podcast interviews and writing articles to educate us on the latest trends and most pressing topics. We covered issues that continue to emerge and evolve, including cybersecurity, telemedicine and a range of medical innovations.
As we head into 2022, we will continue to bring you the resources you need to manage your practice, care for your patients and nourish your own well-being. We look forward to honoring and acknowledging the tremendous efforts of our healthcare leaders and our scientists who work to keep all of us safe and healthy. And we will seek to support the healthcare community so that we may all achieve a collective healing and cultivate a resilient spirit.
