Senator Christopher “Kip” Bateman has been a Director since 2016. Senator Bateman has served the 16th Legislative District of New Jersey since January 1994, when he was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly, serving seven consecutive terms, ending in 2007. In 2008, he was elected a New Jersey State Senator. Senator Bateman served as the Deputy Conference Leader from 2008-2014. He currently serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Environment and Energy Committee. Senator Bateman is a Partner with the law firm of DiFrancesco, Bateman, Coley, Yospin, Kunzman, Davis and Lehrer, P.C. He has been a member of numerous community organizations, including HomeSharing Program of Somerset County, Special Olympics New Jersey, Branchburg Rotary Club, Midland Foundation, Somerville Elks, Somerset Medical Center, Branchburg Historical Society, Somerset Public Employees Charitable Campaign, United Way Board of Trustees, the New Brunswick Theological Seminary Board of Trustees and the Wellness Community Board of Trustees.
